I Believe

I believe in God. I believe in God so deeply that I have a hard time imagining myself or my life without God at the center of it.

I also believe that God believes in me. And each of His daughters and sons. And I believe He believes in us so deeply that He would also have a hard time imagining His beautiful plan without us at the center of it.

I believe that God is with us. I believe that God will keep us safe. I believe that God will bring us home again. I believe that God will not leave us. I believe that God keeps his promises. (1)

I have every reason to have a great deal of trust in God!

I also believe God puts a lot of trust in me.

I believe God gave me agency. He gave me the power to choose and the knowledge to understand the difference between good and evil. There's a lot of evil in the world, but there's also a lot of good in the world. A lot!

God wants me to choose the good. He wants me to share the good with His other children. He wants me to encourage the good in others. He wants me to grow good all around me.

It's so easy to get caught up in the hard, dark, discouraging, exhausting parts of life. They happen to all of us. They ebb and they flow. Sometimes they are stronger than others, but there will always be darkness and opposition.

And that's okay. Do you know why? Because there will always be more light. There will always be more goodness. There will always be more God.

I just have to choose it.

I choose to see it. I choose to believe in it. I choose to plant it. I choose to nurture it. I choose to encourage it. I choose to grow it. I choose to defend it. I choose to become it.

I choose to partner with God and to co-create my little corner of the beautiful world and beautiful plan He already has imagined!
